What is Kidmondo?: Kidmondo is a comprehensive online baby journal. It’s a safe, secure way for parents and caregivers to chronicle their child’s life and share it with friends and family.
What can I do on Kidmondo?: You can document your child’s development, keep a diary, track important milestones, add photos and videos. Kidmondo even let’s you add medical information, dental records, keep a food diary, chart your child’s growth and more. It also allows you to share your journal with friends and family in a safe and secure environment. You can also turn your online journal into a beautifully printed ‘Kidbook‘. What makes Kidmondo different from other websites?: Kidmondo puts your child center stage. Unlike blogs, photo-sharing services, and social networks, Kidmondo lets you consolidate and organize all your child’s information in one place. Kidmondo is truly tailored around the child. It is easy to use, easy to read, and it’s free!
Do I maintain control over my information?: Absolutely. We take your privacy and security very seriously. Everything you place on Kidmondo.com is and will remain yours. You maintain complete control over your information. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
How much does Kidmondo cost?: Kidmondo is free. We also offer an optional premium plan for an additional fee. For more information on our plans, click here.
I would like Kidmondo to do [fill in the blank]?: While some functionality has been intentionally skipped to make it as simple as possible to use, we are continually adding features to Kidmondo over time. If there’s something you’d like, please let us know! We’d love to hear from you (even if it is something you dislike).
Can I take my information with me?: Kidmondo offers the ability to turn your online journals into customized printed ‘Kidbook‘. We are currently working on alternative methods of taking your information with you and will be rolling them out in the future.
Why can’t I make my child’s journal open to the public.: We thought long and hard about this issue, but ultimately decided that the security of your child’s information is of the utmost importance to us. As such, we will not offer a public journal. If you would like to share the journal with someone, just invite them.
What should I do if something is not working?: For technical assistance, please contact us.
What does the name ‘Kidmondo’ mean?: Glad you asked. The Kid part is pretty self-explanatory. Mondo actually means ‘world’ in Italian. So Kidmondo means ‘Your child’s world’.
Who are you guys?: We are parents who couldn’t find a compelling service to chronicle and share the memorable moments in our children’s life. So we built, one. Read more about us here.
