About Kidmondo

Kidmondo is a comprehensive online baby journal and organizer that allows parents and caregivers to chronicle their child’s life and share it with friends and family in a safe environment.

About the company

Kidmondo was founded by a couple in New York City, who - after the birth of their second child - couldn’t find an compelling way to chronicle and share news about their kids with family and friends around the world. In the process of creating Kidmondo, the initial idea of a basic online baby journal expanded into a unique destination, where all the child information is stored and organized in a simple and accessible way.

About the founders

Daniel Hallac (dad) - Until recently, Daniel was the Global Head of eBusiness at HSBC Private Bank, the third largest wealth management institution, where he was responsible for the strategy, marketing, development and management across all digital channels. After 12 years in the corporate world, he is enjoying the start-up life and the flexibility to spend more time with his kids.

Carole Hallac (mom) - Carole is an freelance journalist and communication professional. As a PR based in Milan, Italy, Carole was involved in the launch of MTV Italia and some of her clients included Kenzo, Etro, John Kennedy JR & George magazine, Tommy Hilfiger, Virgin Megastore, Wallpaper*, Rolling Stone magazine and more. Since moving to New York, she has mainly been writing on a wide range of topics such as beauty, fashion, health, entertainment, lifestyle and travel for such publications as Elle Italia, Glamour Italia, Dove, Flair, Grazia and Daily Luxury.
